Police and DCI officers in Kisumu have launched a manhunt following a theft incident at the Kisumu County Assembly Chambers.
The thugs broke in and stole two Television sets and a PA System, an incident that happened over the weekend.
According to the police reports, the thugs broke into the Assembly Chambers through the windows and made off with the said equipment.

Assembly Clerk Owen Ojuok has confirmed the theft incident and said that they have reported the matter to the police for investigation.
The stolen equipment were always used by the Assembly Hansard team to broadcast the Chambers live sessions.

However, the big question is how the thugs managed to access the tightly secured premises that shares a wall with Kisumu Police station.
Additionally, the Assembly is guarded 24 hours by a private security firm. It is also manned by two police officers.
