Ruto Calls for Unity and Development to Secure Kenya’s Future

On Sunday, President William Ruto urged religious and political leaders to work together to promote unity among Kenyans. He emphasized that a united nation is key to securing Kenya’s future.

Speaking during a church service in Jericho, Nairobi, Ruto made it clear that he is open to working with individuals who share his vision.

He stressed that his administration welcomes like-minded people who are committed to the country’s development.

To ensure progress, the president further, discouraged leaders from spreading ethnic divisions and political hostility. He insisted that Kenya must move forward despite criticism from those who doubt his plans.

A Call for Inclusivity and Collaboration

Ruto assured Kenyans that the government has enough space for everyone. He dismissed the idea that for one person to succeed, another must lose.

Instead, he encouraged leaders from all sectors to come together and work as one.

“The government is big enough for all of us. One person’s gain does not have to be another’s loss. We can all be winners,” he said.

He added that leaders must focus on the bigger picture—ensuring that future generations inherit a strong and united nation.

Commitment to Education

President Ruto reaffirmed his dedication to improving education across the country. He pointed out that, in just a year and a half, his administration has built about 17,000 new classrooms.

He promised that even more classrooms will be constructed to ensure every child in Kenya has access to quality education.

“The best legacy we can leave for our country is to make sure every child in Kenya gets an education,” he stated.

Affordable Housing for Kenyans

The president also outlined his government’s efforts to provide housing for low-income families. He announced that 40,000 housing units will be built in Eastlands, Nairobi.

Additionally, his administration aims to construct 500,000 affordable housing units across the country to help Kenyans secure decent homes.

With a strong focus on unity, development, and social welfare, Ruto assured Kenyans that his administration remains committed to making Kenya a better place for all.
