However, things have now taken a negative turn. Because of the poor state of the road, transporting goods to the market has become harder and more expensive.
As a result, farmers are losing money, and their produce sometimes goes bad before it gets to buyers and the market.
Poor construction work
The villagers are especially angry about how the road was repaired. Instead of using strong, long-lasting hard stones, the contractor used machine-cut stones, which are not suitable for road construction.
