Manchester City signs record-breaking kit deal with Puma

Manchester City Football Club has signed a new and exciting kit deal with Puma. The deal is said to be worth an incredible £1 billion (about Ksh 178 billion) over the next 10 years.

This therefore, makes it the biggest kit manufacturing partnership in the history of the English Premier League.

A Look Back at the Old Deal

Back in 2019, Manchester City signed a deal with Puma that paid them £65 million per year. That agreement helped both the club and Puma grow stronger together.

Now, with this new deal, the annual amount will increase to £100 million per year and will run until 2035, according to reports from British media.

Trophyless Season

Interestingly, this huge new deal comes after Manchester City did not win any major trophies in the last season. This was the first time the club finished a season without silverware since 2016–17.
