Kenya is ranked 7th,among the top 10 countries in Africa with the best roads. This is according to the Global Economy list that researched on the road networks in African Countries.
Recently, 162,000 Kilometres of Kenya’s roads are documented. The number is set to increase as their are other roads under construction.
Over the last decade, the Kenyan government has focused most of its effort on infrastructure. The construction of roads is among the President Kenyatta’s, big 4 agenda, therefore, making it Kenya at the top of the list.
Express way
Expressway,is also known as Jomo Kenyatta International Airport( JKIA)-Westlands Highway. It connects the Westlands and the JKIA airport. Motorist takes 15 minutes to connect the two locations.
It is 27.01 KM long.
Thika super highway
For over a decade now, the Thika super highway has been Kenya’s most popular road compared to any other Kenyan road. The Thika Super highway way connects Nairobi’s CBD and Kiambu’s Thika town.
