“Don’t let the gov’t vaccinate your cattle” Kalonzo to Kenyans

Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has ask Kenyans not to let the government vaccinate there cattle and livestock.

Kalonzo has condemned the said government’s Livestock Vaccination Plan, Citing it as a “Sinister Agenda”

The Azimio principle strongly criticized the government’s proposal of vaccinating over 22 million livestock nationwide, alleging it is part of a harmful “foreign agenda.”

Speaking at a press conference on Friday, Kalonzo accused President William Ruto’s administration of advancing a program that poses risks to Kenyan citizens and their livestock.

Kalonzo claimed the vaccination program, presented as an environmental protection initiative, could genetically modify livestock, altering their natural processes, including methane emissions.

He further warned that this could have severe consequences for animal health, food security, and the environment.

“The vaccines are designed to alter the genetic makeup of our livestock, ultimately stopping them from emitting methane gas during digestion. This so-called solution could lead to biological malformations and serious health risks for both animals and humans,” Kalonzo asserted.

Allegations of Hidden Motives

Kalonzo dismissed the justification that methane emissions from livestock harm the environment, pointing to the long-standing use of animal waste in biogas production.

He also questioned as to why such measures were not implemented in countries with larger livestock populations.

“Why target Kenya when nations with more significant methane emissions have rejected these gene-modifying vaccines? This plan seems to serve foreign interests rather than protecting Kenyans,” he said.

Wider Implications

The Wiper leader warned that the vaccination initiative could open the door to genetically modified foods and synthetic meat production in Kenya, undermining traditional farming practices.

“This is just the beginning. The ultimate goal is to phase out natural livestock farming and replace it with industrially produced synthetic meat,” he claimed, urging pastoralists and farmers to resist the program.

A Call for Resistance

Kalonzo therefore, called on all Kenyans to reject what he termed a reckless and unpopular policy.

“Do not allow anyone to vaccinate your animals under false pretenses. This is a dangerous experiment that must not be forced on our people,” he said.

Additionally, he criticized the government for allegedly prioritizing foreign interests over the welfare of Kenyans and vowed to oppose the plan through all available channels.

“This is not about the environment. It’s about control and exploitation. Kenyans must stand united to protect their livelihoods and future,” Kalonzo declared.
