Rapper Kennedy Ombima, known as King Kaka, and content creator Carter Ninifelly Owiti, also called Nana Owiti, have ended their relationship after 13 years together.
In a joint statement, the couple explained that they reached this decision after much thought. They stressed that this choice was not made lightly.
While they did not share the specific reasons for their breakup, they both agreed to remain respectful and supportive friends as they move forward in their lives.
This commitment to friendship is therefore, important, especially since they have three children together.
The couple emphasized that co-parenting their children is a top priority. They want to continue raising their kids with the same dedication they had before.
They expressed their immense determination to create a stable and loving environment for their children.
In their statement, they shared their feelings about this difficult moment.
“We honestly never thought we would one day write a statement like this, but life happens. After much reflection and consideration, we have made the difficult decision to end our relationship,” they wrote.
Countless memories
Over the 13 years they spent together, King Kaka and Nana Owiti created countless memories. They built a life together and, most importantly, raised three amazing children. Their kids will always come first, no matter what happens between them as a couple.
The couple, who have often been in the public eye, thanked their fans for their support throughout their journey.
They kindly asked for privacy during this time of change.
“As public figures, we recognize that our personal lives may attract attention, but we kindly ask for privacy and understanding as we navigate this transition as a family,” they stated.
They reiterated that their focus remains on co-parenting their children with love and respect.

The breakup comes after months of speculation about their relationship. In mid-2024, there were rumors that they had separated.

At that time, King Kaka addressed the rumors, saying he wanted to clarify things. He warned bloggers to be careful when discussing family matters, emphasizing the importance of family.
“I don’t clout chase, especially when it comes to family issues, and neither does Nana. I was not even going to address this, but since it touches family, I have to,” he said.
As they move on, both King Kaka and Nana Owiti are focused on their children and the new chapter in their lives.
