A suspected kidnapped wife was found with her second husband. Detectives investigating the kidnapping case have uncovered an unusual twist involving an estranged love triangle.
According to a police report, Brian Andore filed a complaint at Kitsuru Police Station on November 9, claiming his wife had been abducted by individuals who lured her with a fake job offer.
Andore reportedly received a startling ransom demand of Ksh.150,000 from an unknown number, prompting him to seek police intervention.
Fabrication discovery
In response, the Directorate of Criminal Investigations’ (DCI) Crime Research and Intelligence Bureau (CRIB) and Operations teams initiated an investigation.
On November 13, they apprehended a suspect, Chiranzi Tsuma Mbaru, whose phone number was linked to the ransom call.
However, during interrogation, the officers discovered that the reported kidnapping was largely fabricated.
Further inquiries led investigators to Oldonyo Orok, Narok South, on November 16, where the last signal from the woman’s phone was traced.
The case continues to unfold as authorities piece together the details of this unexpected interesting turn of events.
At the identified location, the woman was discovered at the home of her undisclosed husband, George Odada, accompanied by her two daughters.
Initial investigations revealed that the situation was not a kidnapping as initially reported but rather a complex love triangle.
