Police have arrested a second suspect in connection with the brutal killing of 31-year-old teacher Albert Ojwang.
This new development adds a deeper twist to the already disturbing case that has sparked public outrage.

The 23-year-old technician is now in custody. He is accused of disabling the CCTV system at Nairobi’s Central Police Station.

Authorities now say he tampered with the surveillance cameras after receiving a payment of just Ksh.3,000.
By turning off the cameras, he may have helped cover up what really happened to Ojwang — including whether he was tortured or killed inside the station.
The missing CCTV footage
Earlier, the Independent Policing Oversight Authority (IPOA) had raised serious concerns about missing CCTV footage.
In particular, footage from the office of the Officer Commanding Station (OCS) was reportedly unavailable.
This gap in the video evidence has made it harder for investigators to trace exactly what happened to the teacher.
On Wednesday, IPOA Vice Chair Anne Wanjiku appeared before the Senate and confirmed that key footage had either been erased or was never retrieved.
This has only added and fueled more questions about what went on behind closed doors at Central Police Station.
Murder charges
This arrest comes just a day after police also arrested Constable James Mukhwana, a police officer stationed at Central Police Station.
Officers from the Internal Affairs Unit (IAU), working together with IPOA, arrested Mukhwana. He is now expected to face murder charges in court.
Investigators are continuing their work, hoping to uncover the full truth behind Ojwang’s tragic and suspicious death. The public, meanwhile, is watching closely — demanding answers and justice.
