Security officers in Rongo Sub County have started investigating a shocking incident involving a GSU police officer.
The officer, who was being rushed to his church in Rongo, tragically passed away. Soon after, his body was buried within the church compound, raising many questions.

According to an incident report from Kamagambo Police Station in Rongo Sub County, the officer was traveling with his wife when he died on March 27, 2025.
The very next day, on March 28, 2025, his wife arranged for his burial inside their church compound. This unusual event has caught the attention of both the police and the public.
Burial permit
Authorities have discovered that the officer’s wife obtained a burial permit from the provincial administration.
This permit allowed her to proceed with the burial, following the church’s doctrine. However, further investigations suggest that the deceased officer had been receiving radical teachings from the same church.
In fact, this church had already been on the police radar because the officer’s father had previously reported concerns about its activities.
Rongo Sub County Deputy County Commissioner, Mr. George Matundura, confirmed that he is aware of the incident. He assured the public that investigations are underway, and legal action will be taken soon.
Meanwhile, this incident has sparked strong reactions among the public. Many people are demanding a thorough government investigation into the church.
They suspect that the church is spreading radical beliefs, which could be influencing its followers in harmful ways.
As the investigation continues, authorities will be looking closely into these claims to ensure that no illegal or dangerous teachings are being promoted.
