Kenya Power’s unexpected delay in token purchases

Kenya Power has announced a delay in delivering electricity tokens to customers who buy them using the M-Pesa PayBill number 888880.

No Explanation Given, Alternative Payment Methods Suggested

In a statement released on Saturday 15th, the Kenya Power company did not explain the cause of the delay.

However, it advised customers to use other payment options, such as banking services, to purchase tokens.

Failed Transactions Reported

Reports show that many customers have experienced failed transactions when trying to buy tokens using PayBill 888880.

Kenya Power Working on a Solution

Kenya Power assured customers that their team is actively working to fix the problem. “Our team is working to resolve the issue affecting our Mpesa Paybill 888880,” the company stated.

Apology and Assurance to Customers

The power company apologized for the inconvenience caused by the delay. It also promised to update customers as soon as the issue is resolved.

“We will issue an update once this is concluded. We apologize to our customers for any inconvenience caused and thank them for their patience,” Kenya Power stated.

Customers are advised to remain patient and use alternative payment methods until the issue is fully resolved.
